Everything is permissible for me, but not all things are beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be enslaved by anything [and brought under its power, allowing it to control me].(1 Corinthians 6:12 AMP).

One of the subtle strategies that weakens spiritual growth is distraction. Many believers do not fall because of obvious sin but because their attention gradually shifts from what is spiritually profitable to what is merely convenient or pleasurable.

Friends, you will agree with me that not all things that are permissible are beneficial for your spiritual well-being.

They may appear harmless, yet quietly compete with your devotion, your prayer life, and your sensitivity to the leading of the Spirit.

Worry is a spiritual distraction, but it will come with what seems like a justifiable reason to be worried.

Scripture said,

To keep Satan from taking advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.( 2 Corinthians 2:11 AMP).

Certain things might not look harmful, but are they beneficial? It might be things you have reasons to do, but are they needful or necessary?

For instance, you can pray anytime of the day, but are the things you choose to do that made you shift a prayer you were prompted to pray truly more needful or beneficial?

Apostle Paul says,

What was gained to me I now count but lose for the excellency of knowing Christ my Lord.(Philippians 3;7).

Friends, I don't care how lucrative those openings may look, if it makes your fellowship and dedication to God come later, then it is a distraction.

Movies are not bad, but they shouldn't be your god. Watch out, if it can keep you awake at night and prayers cannot keep you awake, then you are spiritually distracted and need attention.

Friends, spiritual distraction will keep you off the radar that heaven cannot get you, especially when your sensitivity is needed to handle sensitive issues concerning your life.

Scripture has said,

Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise,

making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.(Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV).

Moreover, many prayers are not answered because it is not the movement of the mouth that makes prayer effective, but the stability of the heart praying, the reason scripture says,

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. (James 1:8).

Friends, the foundation for your all-around well-being is your spiritual stability, the need to consistently rise against the things or persons that subtly tend to move your focus and sensitivity off the spiritual radar.

Making peace with God remains the safest thing to do in maintaining spiritual stability, which drives all-around peace and physical well-being.

Therefore, I invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb's book of life.

Thank you for saving me. Amen.

I pray for you, may every distraction fighting your spiritual focus and stability be cut off, and may God grant you the grace to stay steadfast in Him at all times.

In the name of Jesus.

Anything that consistently competes with your devotion to God is not merely an activityโ€”it is a distraction.

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? (Psalms 85:6).

Revival is the move of the Spirit that awakens the hearts of men and stirs them to pursue spiritual renewal above worldly pleasure. It is a divine awakening that restores passion for God and rekindles a deep hunger for His presence.

When the Spirit of God breathes afresh upon a life, what once seemed broken, stagnant, or confusing begins to fall back into divine order.

This is why the absence of personal revival often leaves room for struggles, spiritual weakness, and persistent battles with sin.

What a revived spirit does is that it empowers a believer to rise above habits and limitations that once held the soul captive.

Bear in mind, until you initiate and sustain personal revival, you will continue to live at the mercy of sin and those undesired habits fighting against your soul.

Hear this, there is a level of spiritual sensitivity required to fast-track your shift that you can never experience in your Christian walk until your spirit is revived to keep you in tune, the reason scripture said,

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. (Hosea 10:12).

Friends, revival is not a wish but a longing that brings spiritual awakening in our lives.

The psalmist said,

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.(Psalms 42:1).

Friends, there is nothing you are praying for today that the wave of revival can not make possible, the need for spiritual refreshing to have a fruitful life.

Scripture said,

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. (Isaiah 32:15).

Therefore, I invite you to take this reconciliatory step to stay revived as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior; please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Thank you for saving me.

๐—ฃ๐—ฅ๐—”๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—ฅ

I pray for you, may every area of your life that requires divine visitation be urgently visited through the wave of revival.

In the name of Jesus.

Your spirit must be spiritually alive to keep life progressive around you.

ย Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

(Hebrews 12:15).

Offence looks normal to take, but it works like sin and limits the same things sin could limit in a man's life.

Is the offender right to have hurt you? No. Neither will you be right to allow offense to lead you in the same direction as the one who offended you.

Beloved, just as sin will not allow you to flow in prayer, offence will not allow you to flow, nor will it allow you to please God.

Scripture has said,

The anger of man does not work the righteousness of God. (James 1:20).

Friends, be careful not to take offense, though your reasons may seem good, they are not justifiable.

Cain had a reason for killing his brother, but his reason was not justifiable before God.

Watch because the devil will give you several reasons why becoming offended with those who hurt you is good, but it is not justifiable before the God who says,

Bear with one another, and if any man has a quarrel against another; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. (Colossians 3:13).

I have observed that the reason the devil gives us for taking offence is not the real reason he is pushing us to be offended.

For instance, the reason he gives you could be that you were betrayed, but his real reason is to keep your heart heavy with the pains of offence, thus severing your fellowship with God.

Friends, be watchful because the reason the devil brings is not for your good, and will not in any way mitigate or pacify your heart but will rather overburden it.

This is the reason Apostle Paul said,

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. (Acts 24:16).

Friends, I charge you today to keep your heart light and free from offence, not necessarily because you were not offended but so that you can enjoy peace with God and avert Satan's hidden reason for stirring the offence in your heart.

However, you cannot free your heart from these offences until you have made peace with God, as you repeat after me:

Lord Jesus, I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior.

Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lambโ€™s Book of Life.

Thank you for saving me.

๐—ฃ๐—ฅ๐—”๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—ฅ

May God grant you the grace to guard your heart against every root of bitterness, and may every offence planted in your heart by the devil lose its hold over your life.

In the name of Jesus.

๐—ช๐—ข๐—ฅ๐——๐—ฆ ๐—ง๐—ข ๐—ฃ๐—ข๐—ก๐——๐—˜๐—ฅ

Offence may feel justified, but a heart free from offence is what keeps a man in fellowship with God.
