GENERATING SPIRITUAL ENERGY THROUGH FASTING

𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘: In elementary science, we were taught that energy is the ability to do work. This also applies perfectly in the realm of the spirit. Spiritual energy is the capacity of a believer to contend, resist, advance, and remain in control despite opposition. It is not church attendance, title, or association that keeps a believer victorious; it is spiritual energy.

When spiritual energy is low, even small challenges feel overwhelming. When spiritual energy is high, battles bow effortlessly. One of the strongest ways we generate this energy is through fasting and prayer. Bear in mind that fasting is not a hunger strike; it is a deliberate spiritual exercise that amplifies your inner strength. When food is suspended, the spirit is given more room to dominate, thus weakening the flesh and strengthening the spirit.

Friends, there are moments when challenges may arise that external spiritual support may be out of reach. In such moments, what is required to sustain you is the energy generated within your spirit. This is why fasting is not optional for believers who desire to stay ahead this year.

Scripture said, Say unto God, how terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. (Psalms 66:3). Friends, power does not fall on empty vessels, it answers to spiritual energy, and fasting is a proven way to increase that energy. Many believers are waiting endlessly for things to change, not knowing that some doors will only respond to increased spiritual capacity. You may have been waiting for a long time, hoping that things will change. However, certain challenges do not move due to the time you are waiting for them to; they only move because of the energy exerted on them in the place of fasting and prayer. Jesus said: “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:21). This shows clearly that fasting generates a level of spiritual force that prayer alone may not produce. This is to say, there are challenges confronting lives, families, ministries, and destinies this year that will only bow when believers deliberately raise their spiritual energy through fasting. Scripture said, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost”. (Jude 1:20). There are things that once resisted me in the past that now can no longer wait for my prayers before they bow. This is not because I changed, but because my energy level changed, that is, same believer, different spiritual capacity. Friends, the forces of darkness are not slowing down their attacks on you, If you must contend, remain in control, and stay victorious this year, you must intentionally build that spiritual energy through fasting. However, this journey begins with your willingness to stay reconciled with Jesus because He has said: for without Me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5).

Lord Jesus, I accept You today as my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥: I connect you to the grace that raises spiritual giants through fasting. In the name of Jesus.

Receive the grace to subdue the flesh and activate the spiritual stamina required to contend and remain in control this year. In the name of Jesus.

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

FAITH THAT SECURES THE FUTURE

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 - Jan 02, 2026

And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.

(Genesis 13:14–15)

𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘: As we step into this new year, it is important to understand that faith is not only for believing, it is to see ahead and to secure for you that desired future. The eyes of your mind function as a magnetic force, drawing into manifestation what God has already prepared but not yet delivered. Your inner vision, powered by faith, has the capacity to reshape your reality. Opens you up to divine possibilities and positions you for opportunities that ordinary sight cannot capture and until you can see by faith, you cannot truly possess. The eyes of your mind remain the gateway through which God’s promises are accessed because hardly will God bring a man into what his faith cannot see. This truth was clearly demonstrated in the life of Abram. God’s promise was tied to Abram’s ability to lift his eyes and look beyond where he stood. In contrast, when others were presented with the same promise of the land, many failed to enter, not because the promise was false, but because their vision was weak. While faith would have helped them see victory, fear caused them to see giants. Scripture said, …and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. (Numbers 13:33).

The difference between those who possessed the land and those who perished was what they saw ahead. As we take the journey into this glorious year, the question is, what are you seeing by faith?

Are you seeing growth, progress, restoration, and fulfillment? Or are fear, doubt, and past limitations shaping your expectations? Those who went to spy the land lost out, not because the land was unattainable, but because their faith could not see beyond opposition. This is why Apostle Paul prayed earnestly for the Ephesian church: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.(Ephesians 1:18) Friends, without spiritual illumination, faith remains shallow, and without reconciliation with God, a man is limited to what natural understanding can grasp. That is why today, I invite you to make peace with God and allow Him to enlighten the eyes of your understanding to visualize and secure that future you desire. You can repeat after me, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
