THE NECESSITY OF PROPER ALIGNMENT

2:39

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who

THROUGH faith and patience inherit the promises.

(Hebrews 6:12).

As a branch draws life from a healthy vine, so our lives can only flourish when rooted or connected to the right source.

Life becomes a burden when you fall out of alignment with Christ and the right people. It becomes frustrating when you are detached from inspiring men, and distracting when you are fused with men without focus and vision.

Jesus said,

..As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.(John 15:4).

It is therefore proper alignment that positions us and gives our destiny the desired advantage required to excel.

Bear in mind, dreams do not fulfill themselves; they must properly align with the right links, wisdom, and counsel of positive minds to materialize.

Timothy connected with Apostle Paul, likewise Elisha with Elijah.

Friends, the best your present knowledge of God, skills, and understanding can do for you is this present level it has brought you, which I am sure is not your desired level.

Thus, the need to positively align with spiritual fathers, mentors, and trainers to connect and fast-track your change.

Scripture said,

Without consultation and wise advice, plans are frustrated, bur with many counsellors they are established and succeed. (Proverbs 15:22)

God is in heaven and you are on the earth, He will not need to link you with heavenly beings but earthly beings, the reason you need God-sent men your way.

Before Jesus came into His earthly ministry, God programmed Him not just to gain favor with Him, but also to gain favor with men.

Scripture said,

And Jesu increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and Man. (Luke 2:25)

Two of these things will form part of your turnaround, the person(s)programmed for you, and the positive alignment you maintained with them.

This might not come through the wealthy, or a great prophet.

It might be like the case of Joseph who found favour through a gatekeeper.

It might equally be like the case of the little maid who pointed his master King Naaman, to the prophet from whom his leprosy was cleansed.

Friends, there is need to be prayerfully sensitive so you don't abuse God's designated channel for your change, or look with disdain those programmed to provide you the ladder to the top.

This is because, their look does not matter more than their assignment to your life, and their size does not matter more than what they carry.

However, until you are properly aligned with Christ your struggle will continue, no matter who you are connected to.

Therefore, I invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior.

Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb's book of Life.

I pray for you, may God help you to identify and positively align with those He has programmed to facilitate your change.

WHY YOU SHOULD RISE AGAINST YOUR INTERNAL ENEMY

1:49

But in every part of me I discover something fighting against my mind, and it makes me a prisoner of sin that controls everything I do.

(Romans 7:23 Contemporary English version)

It is important to understand that a man’s level of success can never exceed the internal battles he has failed to conquer. Whatever remains unchecked within him will ultimately place a limitation on how far he can rise.

In essence, the extent to which a person gains victory over the internal forces opposing him is what determines the height he can attain in life. True progress is regulated by inward triumph before outward advancement.

Certain negative habits and weaknesses we think do not matter are the enemies that have made us prisoners, thus restricting us from accessing our next phase,

Sad enough, this enemy is working against us from within.

In our bible text, Paul said,

...I discover something fighting against my mind, and it makes me a prisoner of sin that controls everything I do.

The truth is when an enemy is attacking from outside, it is easier to raise a defense, but how defenseless a man becomes if he is attacked and opposed by these internal forces.

It is my finding that prayerlessness is not a mere weakness. It is a means through which the devil contests our destiny, family, and well-being.

You must act now because the habits you are pampering as weaknesses that you can do nothing about are the devil's strongest evidence against you before the courts of heaven.

Scripture said,

Your wrongdoing has turned these away. And your sins have kept good away from you. (Jeremiah 5:25 NASV).

In essence, those wrongdoings might be the things opposing and resisting certain things from coming your way.

It is on this knowledge that the Psalmist cried to God,

...cleanse thou me from secret faults. ( Psalms 19:12).

Friends, I want you to picture and understand the damage this internal enemy has caused you so you can be intentional in calling for divine help to enable you to pull through.

On this note, I invite you to stay reconciled with Jesus, as you make Him your personal Lord and Savior.

Say after me,

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior.
