UNDERSTANDING HOW TO WALK WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗬

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 - Feb 13, 2026

And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

(Genesis 6:3 (KJV).

A foundational truth every believer must grasp is that walking with the Holy Spirit is a deliberate and cooperative journey.

The Holy Spirit earnestly desires to work with us—to lead, instruct, and guide us in every dimension of life. Yet, by His nature, He does not force His will upon anyone.

Scripture makes it clear that the Spirit of God does not strive endlessly with a person who remains unyielding

God said,

My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh...(Genesis 6:3).

Though He longs to help us, shape our paths, and usher us into God’s perfect will, He requires our consent.

Scripture said,

but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own accord. (Philemon 1:14 ESV).

His guidance responds to our willingness, our hunger for God, and our alignment with divine purpose.

Therefore, walking with Him is not merely to acknowledge His presence, but to cultivate a yielded heart, one that listens, responds, and cooperates with His leading daily.

My finding is that He prompts but doesn't pressure like the devil, the reason only those who are sensitive can pick and comply with those prompts.

Moreso, you can't truly walk with the Holy Spirit without understanding that your conscience is one of the primary paths He uses to relate with you, and the more it is sharpened and prompts to comply with the signals transmitted to it, the more He relates more..

Scripture said,

... But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands. (Isaiah 66:2).

The truth is, when you begin to long for more of His presence He equally begins to long for you..

He longs to connect your own spirit to pray, to converse, and to sing melodies, if He senses the readiness in your heart.

This is to say, He is not far as long as our hearts are not far.

Hear this, as we journey in our walk with Him, one characteristic of the Holy Spirit we must watch out for in order to walk with Him is that whenever you begin to experience haste or feel coerced repeatedly to act on something, you should know that it is not the Holy Spirit, but the devil trying to manipulate because the Spirit of God leads with peace, not pressure.

Scripture said,

“I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints: but let them not turn again to folly.” ( Psalm 85:8 (KJV)

However, walking well with Him does not happen automatically. It is a process that requires continuous practice and faith.

Therefore, if you can cultivate a heart that is tender, quick to listen, and prompt to obey. Then you can effectively walk with Him.

May I therefore invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me....

Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥

My prayer for you is that the presence of the holy Spirit will begin to walk with you continually in the name of Jesus.

ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗬

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 - Feb 12, 2026

Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.

"(Jeremiah 1:12 AMP).

Every magnificent building that is standing first existed in the mind, placed on paper as a design, before it was executed as a building.

The same is the sequence that births possibility into reality.

This is to say the possibilities are first magnetized in the mind, behaved as a lifestyle, and confessed continually before it became a reality.

Friends, possibilities abound even in that area you think is a no-go area; the reason Jesus said, if there are no "Ifs" found amongst us, anything can happen.

Jesus said, If? There are no 'ifs' among believers. Anything can happen."(Mark 9:23 MSG).

Friends, it is not enough to pray about a thing; the heart must be trained to anchor it, the mind exercises to paint it, and the mouth must be disciplined to maintain it as a confession.

Scripture said,

The lips of the righteous know what is fitting, and their mouths speak what is right. (Proverbs 10:32).

Moreso, it is what you can see that expands you, not luck, and it is what you can't picture that limits you, not mainly the devil.

God is not stranded on how to bring you to your next phase; He is only concerned with how you can picture that phase.

He said to Abraham,

... "Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are standing, northward and southward and eastward and westward;

For all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever. (Genesis 13:14-15 AMP).

Bear in mind that along life's pathway, some undesired circumstances may surface, but you must discipline your heart not to doubt and your mouth not to speak contrary to that which you believe.

It is therefore a requirement in the realm of possibility to keep gazing at what you want to see, behaving what you want to experience, and declaring what you expect.

However, there is no possibility other than struggling around a man who is disconnected from the very life of God.

The reason Jesus said,

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. (John 15:4 NLT).

May I, therefore, invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior.

THE MAN GOD LOOKS

1:54

...But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.

(Isaiah 66:2 ESV).

God has never chosen men based on their social status, achievements, titles, or outward spirituality.

In essence, God does not look at what a man has gathered, but at what has been broken within him.

There are things we parade that hold no value before God.

This is to say that what God looks for in man is not his spiritual sufficiency but his insatiable heart, not his perfection but his broken and contrite spirit.

Scripture said,

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalms 51:17 ESV).

In the secular world, organizations look for able men, but God's style is different, He looks for men who will consistently acknowledge their inability so He makes them able.

Apostle Paul acknowledged this when he said,

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant---not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:5-6 NIV)

Friends, whatever offers you the mindset of self-competence has already set you up for struggling, because God only looks in our direction when we acknowledge that we are not fit or know what to do next.

There are many doors you have been knocking with your qualifications, the reason it has not opened, but bear in mind the greatest qualification for divine attention is a contrite heart.

What God looks for in man over the years is not the bended knee but the heart that bends it, not the prayer but the motive that prays it, not how many times confession was made but the sincerity of heart for which it was made.

Today, I encourage you to make peace with God as you repeat after me.

LORD Jesus, I accept you as my personal LORD and Savior.
