THE MYSTERY OF PRAYER

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗬

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 - Feb 17, 2026

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

(Luke 9:29)

Prayer is a mystery that goes far beyond asking, a divine platform where refreshing takes place, transformation occurs, and the very life of God is infused into the believer.

As seen in Scripture, prayer alters the inner state of a man before it reflects outwardly.

In essence, every genuine prayer must first affect a change within us, our countenance, our alignment, our nature, before it produces material or visible results.

The truth is, you have no testimony if you are a prayer champion who can move mountains, but is daily conquered or moved by the flesh.

Prayer is therefore more of a spiritual integration with God and an altar of personal change than a platform for material demands.

Scripture said,

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.(Luke 9:29).

The true gauge to determine the effectiveness of our prayers is to see if the prayers had over time pruned down certain lifestyles, attitudes, and characters that are inconsistent with godly living.

It is not true that a man can sincerely have quality time with God in prayers and not have such prayers affect his life.

If it doesn't, then such a man has missed the true essence and God's priority for prayers.

Scripture said,

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. ( 3 John 2 ESV).

Notice God's most interest in that verse.. "As it goes well with your soul".

That is, I want all I desire for you to go well the way I have desired first of all the spiritual healthiness of your soul.

Hear this, if those parts of our lives which are not in conformity with God's expectations of us would first experience change or be refined in the place of prayers, then certain things we had asked for would have come on their own.

Friends, there are weightier things prayers can do within us, much more than they can get for us, relative to material things.

I charge you to stay reconciled with Christ as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

I pray for you, far beyond material demands, may your prayer experience be filled with consistent encounters and noticeable change in all areas of life.

Words to Ponder; God desires that prayer should change us more than it changes our circumstances.

HOW GOD RESPONDS TO OUR OBEDIENCE

𝘽𝙮 𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙣, 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙, 𝘽𝙀𝘾𝘼𝙐𝙎𝙀 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙃𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝘿𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙤𝙣.

𝙄𝙣 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚

(Genesis 22:16-17).

Even though God can bless a man when he has done nothing to merit it, He will not for any reasons without hold prompt attention to those who move without hesitation to Gods instructions for the now.

He said to Abraham, " Because you have taken this step of obedience,.. in blessings I will bless you. (See our Bible text.)

True, God cannot be influenced, but He can be moved, though you cannot change God but that extra step of obedience can turn around your present situation.

In essence, it is how far a man is willing to comply or turn that decide the move of God.

He said to Elijah,

Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.” ( 1 Kings 21:29 NIV).

God had plan A, but the obedience of Ahab prompted Him to review it.

Friends, that long standing challenge before you is not final, your obedience can move Him to overturn it in your favor. The question is, how ready are you to go the extra miles in obedience, sacrifice and total repentance.

He could choose to bless a man when He dims fit, but when He sees a man's OBEDIENCE, what He intends to do becomes swift.

Friends, it is not true that a man who does nothing under the guise of grace will move God like a man who trusts in grace but added obedience, dedication, sacrifice and service..

For Solomon, God said.

BECAUSE your greatest desire is to help your people, and not for your personal gains, I have granted you even the things you never asked for. (See 2 Chronicles 1:2-3).

It is true many serve God, but there are sacrifices that few have committed themselves in obedience to the voice of God that have now classified them as Heaven's preference.

Friends, there is always something to do to involve God in your affairs, and that is prompt OBEDIENCE, especially when it is not convenient.

Most of you have prayed a lot, but are still held back because OBEDIENCE is not complied with.

I am too sure most of our struggles are beyond prayer and fasting, they have their roots in OBEDIENCE.

Cross-check, there may be something God is saying now that you need more than prayer but OBEDIENCE to access.

Therefore, I invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me.

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍

I pray for you, may every step you take in obedience from today, stir divine intervention in that area of need.

Wonder to Ponder; Your willingness is good but it does not have the key to unlock your new phase, only obedience have.

LOVE ALWAYS PREVAIL

𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗬

𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗶 - Feb 14, 2026

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

(1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

There are many struggles of men that would have ended if there were love among them, victories that would have come without much effort, if love were in place.

Love is one of the basic requirements for answered prayer, a basic requirement for God to move, and a basic requirement for God to abide with us.

The devil is aware of this, and he will do anything possible to plant hatred in our hearts just to deny us access to God and what He offers.

You did nothing special to love those who have never stepped on your toes, but you did the Father's will to love those who never deserved it.

I don't know what is dying around you right now, but if you can subscribe to God's idea of love as seen in our bible text, you will revive it.

That injury and betrayal may be painful, but you can still love. The reason is,

...the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:5).

You may have reasons to hate the other person, but the reasons cannot measure in value to the things that stopped working because of hatred.

It is my observation that the devil can resist a prayer champion but not a genuine Lover, for by love, we wear the very nature of an irresistible God.

We may not owe anyone the debt of association and friendship, but we owe them the debt of love, which embodies patience, kindness, forgiveness, and understanding.

Scripture admonished,

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. (Romans 13:8 NIV).

Yes, you can quote the entire scripture, you can sing, and you can even pray for long.

But remember, we can only be approved on the basis of this scripture.

By this, everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another."(John 13:35 AMP).

However, only as you make peace with God can you wear His nature to love.

Therefore, I invite you to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior as you repeat after me.

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior.

Please forgive my sins and write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life.
